LizBeth's place was so cozy and charming, it felt like you stepped back in time. It was conveniently located. It's a 15 min walk to old town, 20 min or less drive to beaches, restaurants, shops and a great starting point to Haleakala. It was in a quiet neighbourhood which we appreciated. LizBeth provided us with everything we needed including beach chairs, coffee, tea, breakfast loafs, towels, water cooler, and even blankets for Haleakala which came in handy! She was always checking in and responded quickly whenever we had a request.

We loved staying here - the garden was beautiful, the setting was charming, and LizBeth is a responsive and proactive host! We were especially appreciative of her willingness to allow us to store luggage on our arrival day so we could take full advantage of exploring nearby Haleakala National Park without lugging our bags around.

This was our first trip to Maui, and LizBeth was entirely accurate when she said Makawao was the perfect place to stay when exploring all that Upcountry has to offer. We truly enjoyed our stay! The unit was incredibly comfortable and charming, and we enjoyed coffee overlooking LizBeth’s beautiful yard and gardens each morning after restful nights of sleep. LizBeth’s guidebook to Maui was so helpful as well…there’s nothing like the insight of a local to make a trip special. At each step, LizBeth communicated incredibly well. Weeks before our trip, Maui was hammered by storms. LizBeth gave us updates on the conditions and all the post-storm cleanup work. It really put our minds at ease. I could go on, but hopefully you get the point: we couldn’t recommend LizBeth’s place any higher. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
